The veggie burrito with the smothered sauce was very good. I do wish it had some more vegetables though instead of primarily being rice and beans - onions and peppers would be nice too. Chips and salsa were good but i feel the salsa could be slightly thicker. Samantha, the server, was wonderful and she was attentive the whole time and made sure I always had what I needed. Overall, great clean restaurant but I wish they had other veggie options too.
I am not a fan of Mexican food but my son enjoys taco Tuesdays. So, I chose to surprise him and ended up pleasantly surprised myself. La Catrina has delicious salsa, homemade chips, friendly service, and perfectly flavored orchard. I ordered the #4 combo. The flavors exploded in my mouth! One of the best rice, beans and cheese enchiladas I've ever had! I got carne Asad fries for my son with a side of their spectacular green chile. The red Chile was so tasty and definitely contained some heat! I look forward to their church's but will wait til I get home. Family friendly, out alone, or with friends. Enjoyable ambience!
Authentic food, wait staff were okay, not great but not bad. Honestly my favorite part was to see the owner painting. They have beautiful wall murals all hand painted. I would recommend this place to try and make your opinion as we all have our own opinions.
Not only was Liz awesome, the food was sooo good! We got the steak tacos and the burrito. Great food, value, and experience.
A hidden gem in Boulder - Family run Mexican restaurant with delicious street tacos. The chip salsa was delicious, very flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I highly recommend this place!
First visit, from Ontario Canada!! What an amazing experience! Delicious well prepared authentic Mexican cuisine, mood music, clean and beautifully decorated! Would 100% recommend!
The smothered burrito is amazing! Beer is beer and the marg is tasty.
